Steps to Withdraw an Unemployment Insurance Claim:
- Access and Complete the Withdrawal Form:
- Log in to your NEworks account, open Unemployment Services, and select "Request Withdraw of Claim."
- Download or print the form. Follow the instructions.
- Or create your own document that includes:

- Your social security number
- A statement requesting to withdraw the claim and the reason why
- Your signature

- Submit the Completed Form:
- Upload the signed form to your NEworks account.

- Eligibility Requirements:
- Examples of when you may withdraw your claim:
- The claim is not yet completed, and no payment has been made.
- Separation issues haven’t been adjudicated, unless:
- You told NDOL about withdrawing within four days before requesting, or
- You have a Combined Wage Claim and wish to file in another state.
- It’s been less than 20 days since the monetary determination was mailed.
