UI Benefits Overview

UI provides temporary income. If you are unemployed through no fault of your own, you may be able to receive unemployment benefits. Those benefits provide weekly payments for a short time while you look for a new job. These payments replace some, but not all, of your income.

Appeals Information

You have the right to appeal if you disagree with a determination regarding your claim. Your appeal must be received or filed online within 20 calendar days from the date the determination was issued. While your appeal is pending, continue to file for weekly benefits and complete all weekly requirements at NEworks.nebraska.gov.
