Funding details for award totals to the Nebraska Department of Labor for Program Year (PY) 2026 are provided as follows and revised annually. Unless otherwise noted, all statements, news releases, requests for proposals, bid solicitations, visual presentations, and other applicable documents related to the programs below are fully funded from federal sources.

  • The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title I programs (including Adult, Dislocated Worker and Youth) are 100 percent supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $8,008,663.
  • The Employment Services/Wagner-Peyser program (WIOA Title III) is 100 percent supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $4,172,430.
  • The WIOA Dislocated Worker Grant program for Employment Recovery related to the Tyson layoff in Lexington is 100 percent supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $1,671,239.
  • The Jobs for Veterans State Grants program is 100 percent supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $966,940.
  • The Foreign Labor Certification program is 100 percent supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $275,802.
  • The Work Opportunity Tax Credit program is 100 percent supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $119,000.
  • The Senior Community Service Employment program is 100 percent supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $577,977.
  • The Trade Adjustment Act program is 100 percent supported by the U.S. Department of Labor as part of an award totaling $128,095.
