Nebraska Department of Labor and the American Job Center Network
The State Monitor Advocate within the Nebraska Department of Labor (NDOL) helps migrant seasonal farmworkers address issues relating to housing, pay, transportation, and working conditions. The Monitor Advocate helps to ensure that services provided to migrant seasonal farmworkers receive all of the same workforce services provided to others.

NDOL’s mission is to connect people with employment success. The agency offers reemployment services, job search assistance, and referrals to various workforce programs. Unemployment insurance benefits and labor market information are also available through NDOL.
American Job Centers and NDOL offices across the state connect job seekers to positions in the industries with the greatest demand for workers and address barriers to employment. A variety of workshops, training opportunities, hiring events, and coaching are offered.
All job centers utilize translation services that allow limited English speakers access to the full array of employment and training services available.
