Performance Review and Follow-up

The performance review involves a formal evaluation by the consultant to determine whether a participating company meets the requirements for SHARP certification through the Nebraska Department of Labor. To qualify for certification companies must meet the following criteria:

  • Reduced the injury and illness rates to below the national average for their industry.
  • Corrected all identified safety and health hazards.
  • Fully developed their safety and health management program based on the consultant's assessment.
