Program Overview

The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) provides funding for recruitment and retention of teachers and nurses, as well workforce development projects.

Applications have exceeded the amount of funding allotted for this program. All applications received after November 1, 2022 will be assigned to a waitlist in case additional funding should become available. Nursing Recruitment and Retention Grant

This grant program provides premium pay for positions filled by licensed RNs, LPNs, or CNAs who provide in-person patient care.

Workforce Development Grants

This grant program provides funding for businesses, non-profits, educational institutions, and other entities to provide eligible employment-related services to unemployed workers, underemployed workers, and other populations who suffered economic harm due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
