NDOL’s Beatrice Job Center Moves to New Location

LINCOLN - The American Job Center in Beatrice has relocated to 2317 N 6th St., Suite #3.  The Center is operated by the Nebraska Department of Labor (NDOL) and moved from 5109 W Scott Road. NDOL serves workers and employers in person and through the state’s public online labor exchange, NEworks.nebraska.gov. The new location is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Businesses/Employers can gain access to the following:

  • Job posting assistance
  • Tax credit information
  • Labor market information
  • Job fair promotion
  • Worker training grants

Jobseekers can access a wide array of free services, including:

  • Job search and resume assistance
  • Reemployment program
  • Mock Interviews
  • Learning Opportunities
  • Unemployment Services
  • Veteran Services
  • On-the-job training
  • Registered Apprenticeships

Priority service is provided to veterans and their eligible spouses. A veteran representative assists with transitioning into the workforce, building career skills and transferring military experience to meet employment goals. Assistance with accessing state/federal veterans' services and other community support services is also available.

NDOL has formed partnerships with area organizations, including area chambers of commerce, Nebraska Health and Human Services, Job Corps, Vocational Rehabilitation, Proteus and area veteran support groups.
