The Nebraska Department of Labor investigates all reported unemployment insurance fraud.
NDOL is reminding unemployment recipients that declining to return to work or quitting a job without good cause can impact unemployment insurance eligibility. Report work refusals by emailing NDOL.UIworkrefusal@nebraska.gov. Please read the following press release for more information.
To file an unemployment claim, go to NEworks.nebraska.gov. Weekly claims in NEworks are also required in order to receive benefit payments. Do not wait until your eligibility has been determined to file claims for each week you remain unemployed.
Statistics are updated every Thursday, including weekly claims by industry, occupation and county. Also check out our new interactive dashboard.
