The U.S. Department of Labor has approved $800,000 in funding to the Nebraska Department of Labor to respond to workforce needs resulting from the storms and flooding in March 2019.
The elevator, boiler and amusement ride inspection programs have transitioned to the State Fire Marshal. “The transition of these programs represents an important step forward for the State Fire Marshal agency in its mission of prevention, education, and enforcement,” said Governor Pete Ricketts.
